Ana Paula Saldaña Cisneros “AP” is thrilled to be part of Ardent Dance Company and have performed in her first show with them. Born and raised in Mexico, she is a recent graduate of Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota holding a BA in Theatre with a major in Acting/Directing and a minor in Dance. Notable college credits include the ballets Paquita and The Nutcracker, and productions of Measure for Measure, Overtones, and Girls Like That. After graduation she joined Visceral Dance Chicago as a trainee for the Fall ‘22 season and performed alongside the company in Within ‘22. Other professional credits include Unto These Hills ‘22 (Cherokee, NC), Mika Scrooge (Chicago, IL), and “Aesthetic” in A New Light with Rasa Dance Chicago. When she is not dancing herself, Ana Paula enjoys teaching dance to students of all ages and abilities, as well as artistically contributing to theatre both onstage and backstage!
